Hi, this is my first post so please go easy ;)

I'm thinking of buying a Dell Inspiron AIO.
http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-2350-aio/pd?oc=cd2352...
Here are the specs:

i7-4700MQ (6M hache, <3.4GHz)
AMD Radeon HD 8690A (2GB GDDR5)
1TB 5400RPM HDD with 32GB SDD Cache
12GB DDR3 Ram (8 and 4 GB modules installed, max 16GB)

Now from what I can see in the user manual...

( ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/...'s%20Manual_en-us.pdf ),

...the hdd and memory are upgradable fairly easily, but there's absolutely no mention of the GPU. I don't game much at the moment because my current laptop only has Intel integrated graphics on a Sandy Bridge i5 so really isn't up to the challenge. From what I can tell from reviews, the Inspiron does a passable job at gaming but would benefit from an improved GPU.

Can I assume that as there is already a discrete graphics card installed that it should be upgradeable, or will there be something preventing me?

Also, if it is possible, what kind of GPU might people recommend?

Many thanks for any advice,

Badgerchap

All in one PCs are essentially glorified laptops. They use the exact same hardware that laptops do which is why they're able to fit the small form factor. As such you cannot upgrade the hardware on these as most everything is soldered into the motherboard, which in turn is soldered into the frame of the PC. That said, just about the only parts you actually can upgrade on these units are the primary hard drive and the RAM. But you cannot upgrade the CPU or the GPU. You're stuck with what you get. If you want a gaming rig, build your own - it will be far less of a hassle than trying to upgrade an AIO. AIOs are not meant to be gaming rigs, they're only there to handle the most basic functions of a PC and that's about it.
