My case: http://www.sicomputers.nl/aerocool-xpredator-x1-53081.h...

I looked it up and it says my case supports up to 158mm cpu fans , and the CM cooler is about 159mm.
Will it fit with some effort?

Not likely to fit. Sorry. Even if you could cram into the case, the heatsink would likely touch the side of the case. This could affect the fit on the heatsink onto the CPU (poor mount = higher heat and possibly damaging the CPU) and would transfer the fan spinning as vibration to the entire system.

I would look for a shorter solution.

Ah okay thanks

Is it possible to return the cooler if you took it out of the box and tried to fit it by the way? (thermal paste not used)

Sure, it should be fine. Just repackage everything that the 212 EVO shipped with back into the box.

I'm not sure where they stop the measurement, because the copper pipe tips protrude at least 1/2 to 1 inch. I have an NZXT Souirce 210 Elite, and it barely fits. That case is measured at 7.68". So if the dimensions are the same as that case, then you should be okay.
