Nvidia GT 610 wont work on windows 7 64 bit OS even though its 64 bit compatible

ok im hoping you guys here can help me as iv had no help what so ever on the nvidia forums, i have windows 7 32 and 64 bit OS on seperate HDD's on my machine, i have a Nvidia GT 610 2gb ddr 3. now on my 32 bit OS it works perfectly fine, on the 64 bit OS pffft, im getting code 43 no matter what drivers i install, old ones new ones and nothing works, i get code 43 all the time, i have a led monitor hooked up to it using a HDMI cable so audio is through the cable to, but no sound on 64 bit OS either, the graphics card is 64 bit compatible as iv tripple checked, i even asked the guys at my local PC store and they said well as it boots up and you can actually see whats on the screen it should be working, i mentioned everything to them what i have tried to get it sorted and they were clueless, iv uninstalled the device took it out put it in again, uninstalled drivers and ran CCleaner to get rid of anything else reinstalled drivers and still the code 43, but as i said i know it isnt the graphics card as it runs and updates perfectly fine on my 32 bit OS, please please help

The only reason it wont work in windows 64 is driver translation period. Bios talks to Bus, Bus chipset talks to Card slot chipsets talk to the inserted card, Then all of these conversations are translated to the operating system. If you can see your desktop in safe mode on the 64 Bit then your OS should work fine with your card as long as each parent chip is loaded with the correct drivers. Device manager will assist by choosing show devices by connection. In device manager, open the tree until you see PCI Bus, this is where it must match your chipsets perfectly. Generic drivers that dont show exact matching numbers to your mainboard are the problem. Windows doesnt always choose the best driver for your motherboard. When in doubt, install mainboard updated drivers first, then check to see if they match under the PCI BUS (By connection option) once you have all that mess right your video drivers should be reported correctly to the operating system.

Will this fix the problem that happens with the desktop not filling the screen size ? In device manager the card shows an error no matter what driver used...

I am no wizard at this sort of thing, but I feel like your above post might help me solve some graphics issues I'm having. Can you be more specific about how you make sure your PCI Bus matches you mainboard drivers, etc.? You instruct: "...open the tree until you see PCI Bus, this is where it must match your chipsets perfectly." I can look at the PCI Bus, but I can't tell what to compare it to and/or how to make sure they match and/or how to then make them match. Educate me, please. Thanks in advance.
