ide drive. problem

i have intel core2 duos and i faced a problem its too long to detecting ide drives and then its shows msg bootmgr is missing press ctrl+alt+del.i done all what i know but it can't work plz help me out

IDE drives use jumpers to select the mode they operate in (Master, Slave, or Cable Select). If you have more than one device (max of 2) on a single IDE cable, one device must be set to Master and the other as Slave - OR - both must be set to Cable Select (CS).

IDE cables are also subject to defects and you may need to swap cables as well.
