Hi guys
I have to admit I am a little disappointed in my build. I thought that with all this stuff I would be able to see other PVPers lag while I kill them. I think I have maximized my connection speed, but I just don’t get what all the Hype is about when it comes to building your own gaming rig.

My problem is that I don’t know how high I can turn up the juice in the BIOS without frying something that I can’t afford to replace. I have it set to automatically overclock in BIOS based on the computer’s needs. I have the most current updates on everything, as far as I can tell.

This is what I have:

Can someone explain to me what these memory sticks can do for me that my current ones aren’t?

Can someone also point me to a very good beginners guide to over clocking that will explain exactly what values in BIOS are, what they mean, and how to find the max and min values without trial and expensive error?

Thanks very much, and happy Pwning

Thought you might want to know, that low quality power supply you have in that list is a ticking time bomb. And when low quality PSU's die they tend not to die alone, they like taking other components with them.

One thing you have to keep in mind that just because you have a fast computer doesn't mean you're going to be faster than other people in a video game. If i had a slower computer, my graphics settings would be lowered so that I can maintain a consistent gameplay - therefore no lag.
The only thing that might affect that is your Internet connection ping speed. This is really only controlled by your Internet Service Provider.
As for overclocking - do a google search and read a few guides as some are a bit different than others, and you should have no problem. They key is to have good processor cooling in order to increase CPU core voltage without causing damage.

The hype about gaming rigs is that, for example, my video card and computer combination pushes out 4 times the graphics of the PS4.
So it's allowing for some pretty cool looking game play.

As fas as memmory differences, that 2400 DDR means it can run "faster" than the ones you have. What it does really is give you more head room for overclocking your CPU. When you start to clock your CPU faster, the way the math works, it also increases the speed that you memory needs to work at in order to get that speed. The ones you have are 1333 MHz which is a bit slow for overclocking. Would you notice a huge difference, not really as you can have memory dividors set so that it will devide the math that you set for your CPU to accept slower memory speeds.
If you can overclock your CPU stable so that it also uses 2400 MHz of memory as apposed to 1333 MHz for memory, you might notice a small difference in speed - but mostly for applications such as compressing/uncompressing zip files. Otherwise, games won't run much - if any faster.
