In the process of building my PC, my friend who was helping coudn't get the cooler on my FX-6300 to fit right, so he took it off yanking the cpu out of the mobo bending 2 pins in the middle. Then in the process of removing the cpu from the heatsink 4 more pins were bent in the same row along the edge(it came off and dropped a few inches onto the table). I was devastated.

I thought I would need to buy a new cpu, and I was quite upset because I had no money left. So I attempted to fix the cpu. I used tweezers and a tiny scredriver and bent all the pins back perfectly, I couldn't tell the difference from the repaired cpu and the new cpu. I installed it into the board with the cooler, and continued building my PC. Also, none of the pins were too badly bent. The max bent pin angle I would estimate is 45°.

The PC went to the bios screen, and I installed Windows 7.

Now a week later, after hours and hours of heavy gaming and video rendering the cpu is still going and I have had no problems. Idle it is at about 25°C, and under load(cpu video render) about 55°C. I have had no crashes, no stutters in my games nothing. Flawless PC experience. Will I be alright in the future? I need to know if this cpu will just die on me at any moment. Thanks.
