Which manufacturer to go with?

I'm going with a GTX 770 but don't know what manufacturers are good. I know EVGA is good but their cards are a bit more expensive but Zotac has a 770 for $350. Are they good?

EVGA is a good brand that normally overclocks well, and they normally have good coolers, I have not heard much about Zotac good or bad. PNY has a lifetime warranty on their GPU's so that is a bonus.

Zotac is not as premier as EVGA but it is a quality OEM. I have been running a PCNY (a good brand) and a Galaxy (not considered too good) GTX 470 pair in SLI for 3 years and have no problems with even the "down market" Galaxy GTX 470.

I guess I should specify that I'm Canadian and the cheapest EVGA card I can get (on newegg.ca) is $399. However I was looking at a Gigabyte windforce for $20 cheaper and 3 fans! It's also clocked slightly higher

I say go with eVGA. Plus you get a free game which you can sell off to get some of your money back.

Well that solves the problem. The EVGA is cheaper since you get a $60 game with it, which you would have bought anyway.

The cheapest EVGA I could find was $399 but the Gigabyte one is $379 for the OC'ed version and better cooling. I think I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte one TBH.

Ah, you get the game with both cards. I apologize. Didnt see that. Yes the gigabyte is cheaper. I have a gigabyte card myself (7970) and have had no issues. It uses the same cooler.

It has an a higher out of the box overclock, if you want to push it farther EVGA cards tend get more than other manufacturers.
