I am building a PC for my brother and I was wondering what you guys thought of this build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3CBAq It is a budget build so I went with an AMD build. Is there anything I did wrong that is not getting the best price per performance? Any info is welcome.

Nope, can't crossfire them. APUs use the FM2 socket, FX processors use the AM3+.

I would ditch the APU as you have a dedicated GPU. Why get lower processing capability for a integrated GPU you will not use. I think almost all forum members would agree. You will need a new MOBO however.

Why do i need a different mobo, and cant you crossfire a APU and GPU increasing performance?

You can't use that gfx card and the on-die GPU in dual graphics. The card has to have the same GPU as the on-die one. Get the Athlon x4 760K if you are going to use a discrete card. There's not really any benefit to having a weak one on-die if you are not going to use it.

Made a few tweaks (CPU, MOBO, RAM). I changed the case because the motherboard has USB 3.0, it seemed a waste not to make the best use of it, the NZXT one did not have front panel USB 3.0.
