I'm getting a new pc soon and would like to SLI the existing 760 with another . I think the current one is a standard Nvidia card, but i cant seem to find it anywhere on the web for SLIing so i was wondering if i could SLI with the standard Nvidia card and say an MSI or Gigabyte 760.

Solution
No problem, the GPUs inside are all from TSMC anyway.

The only downside is that you're gonna be running at the lowest clocks among the two cards. And the lowest amount of memory, if they should be different in that area.

Hmm... I don't really have an answer for this one. I would think the VRAM clocks would have to be exactly the same otherwise it could be unstable. I know in order to get the maximum potential out of SLI you have to have both cards be identical. I don't know if you can mix or match brands or not. I've never tried it personally.
