Hmm, windows 8, and the cam is designed for vista, I suggest you buy a new cam, had the same problem when I upgraded to 7 from xp, my camera didn't work.

It probably works but it is unstable due to its age. If you keep trying it may work but i dont know it it will keep going without crashing.

Ya that sounds right but when i try to use it now everything dosn't work well like when it did work i could go on google chrome. now if i try to use it it won't let me end a skype call or go on the internet. I have no idea what that is about.
