Hello guys.
I was thinking about replacing my laptop's CPU.
Also add more ram.
It's supposed to support a core 2 quad++, as they use the same socket..
But, assuming that the cpu is removable, do you think that it would be supported?
it's the Core 2 Quad Q9000.
And I currently have a Pentium Dual Core SU4100 @ 1,3 GHz.
Do you think that it could work? I don't care about temps, or the battery or anything as i'm kina using it as a desktop. And I do now about the thermal paste, bb-sized or what. I'm just wondering if it would work. They say that they have the same socket, (P-478) And same codename (Penryn)
