It is not unusual for an external drive to be assigned a different drive letter than the one it had previously. It's quite normal and does not necessarily indicate a problem.

Means you either have some other things installed that take up a drive letter or something did not clear between system uses. If you really want to change the drive letter, go to Drive Manager, select the drive in the listing, right-click on it, and assign it as F: if that is free to use.
