r9 270x lag problems

hi I recently got my new r9 270x. there is just one problem. the performance is very bad. on BF3 I get a average of 20 fps on ultra setting (aa off) that also goes for BF4 aswell. even on minecraft I only get 40 FPS. which on my old card (radeon 7770) I would get a solid 60 FPS. with my new card (r9 270x) I get a bad FPS for pretty much all of my games can someone please help me? my CPU is the fx-6100 3.3 ghz I don't think that can bottleneck it that much. I have the most recent drivers. could the drivers have something to do with it? also im a pc noob. thank you!

I have the same gpu with the fx 8350 and 16 gb of Ram, my power supply is 600w
you need at least 550w for the r9 270x. but it still lag of GTA 4, even at lowest, if someone could help me at my problem to, I would be very happy

my specs:
AMD FX 8350
ASUS R9 270X
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
16 GB RAM
