Plus, for the price of the 4770k and 780ti, I would've bought an i5, a motherboard, case, power supply, 270x, ram, hhd, windows, mouse, and keyboard. But that's just me, rather have a complete system than 2 of the best components you can get for a system

Its a joke!

How would someone know and build such a system with i7/780ti and not know what those chips are about? That system isn't even for 1080p, more 1440/3k.

Also, just a title and quick question with no problems or background or anything? And hasn't been on since, def a brag or gloat or something

But if you want an honest answer to your question.

Your 780ti will 'bottleneck' your i7 before anything. So in other words your GPU will run max, and that's what will limit performance. Im guessing i7 will be 30-65% depending on the game.

I agree, hard imagine someone spending $1000+ in parts without knowing what they're buying. There's obviously no issues with the highest end parts.

i am just a gamer, and i have no interest in computer parts. i got an expert to choose my parts with maximum performance. i only asked because i was getting a maximum of 62 frames per second on every game that existed, and it was confusing me. dont confuse me for someone who just throws money around on whatever they want, i am a longtime gamer and i want to leave the realms of consoles, just i dont have much interest in whats inside a computer. sorry if i bugged you!

i get a maximum 62 fps when im on max graphics on whatever game i play. i read some posts on forums about bottlenecking, and i got a little freaked out! as for the game it could be anything. crysis 3 max graphics, 62 fps. super hexagon, 62 fps. every game i own runs at 62 fps max graphics. its not the monitor, because i have seen it go up to 250+ when i lower the graphics. also thanks for all the help everyone.

Yep, it's most likely that V-sync is on. That would mean that the system will limit gaming FPS to around 60fps (your screen refresh rate). If you deactivate that option, frame rates will be unlocked and you might get higher numbers, but you won't really see much of an improvement, as 60Hz is already the fastest your monitor can show you the frames. You might want to buy a high fps monitor, if you want more than that, but that's not really neccessary.
