ive tryed different sata cables.. different ports...running out of options.. thinking it may be burnt out but the light shows up on it . so its on.... im mindblown atm.. pls help .. thanks
Whether the SATA ports are in IDE or AHCI it shouldn't matter. The SSD should still show up. You need ACHI for SSDs not to make them show up in the bios, but to support TRIM, etc.

What drive and motherboard?
ocz agility 3.. and its a asus motherboard... let me know if u need specific and ill try to find out , haha
A virus shouldn't prevent it from being seen in the bios. I'd pull it out and try it in another machine. (if owner of that machine is worried about virus, pull all his drive and only see if his bios sees it.) If it fails there, then the SSD is dead. I'd guess it's dead myself.
