Best Headset Around?

Hey guys, I am building a new PC and I want the best of the best peripherals. For a headset, top of the line should have 7.1 channels, be very comfortable, and (preferably) wireless.
I would also like noise-cancelling, but if it is a $50 difference then I would rather have no noise reduction.
I wear glasses and take long gaming sessions so comfort is a major concern.
Wouldn't mind 5.1 channels actually, but I think 7.1 would sound better in my opinion :p
What do you guys recommend me getting? Do not take budget into mind, but if the headsets have the same specs but one is $100 more cause it looks awesome, I would probably still go for the cheaper one.
Thank you for any help and advice! If you need any more info just ask!

its not real 5.1 or 7.1 but virtual. you can only get so close with only two drivers (one for each ear). your call as to if thats acceptable.
i've had issues with other noise cancelling headphones where the NC option distorted sound somewhat so i dont generally recommend it but thats your call.

if that sounds fine then the g930 is a pretty common and decently reviewed unit and should work for you.

as far as "top of the line" is concerned it most certainly is not. i would say its about middle of the road.

if you had a larger budget and could do without virtual surround a nice pair of open studio headphones and seperate mic would sound fantastic. if you can get the razer virtual surround software working then it would do the same...
