Now, I am experiencing coil whine. Yes I know. I do not wish to create another coil whine thread I just have a few questions.
I used a rolled up piece of paper to try and narrow down where it is coming from. 100% the GPU. Can this still be caused by my power supply? How does that work?
I have no problem RMAing this thing away but I don't want to become that guy going onto his third GPU with coil whine problems. I have read of so many complaints and the more I read I feel like the less i know. Is this a problem that is more common with 780Ti's. I don't have much of a problem downgrading to a 780 if that will solve the problem. I am gaming in 1080 so the ti was overkill to begin with.
What is the best way for me to proceed to end the whine?
Can we create a flow-chart style of steps for someone experiencing coil whine?
I cant use my PC. Getting a headache from this. Please help guys.
