After replacing my PSU because of a short-circuit, I had to reinstall Win7 on my ssd and i had no problems until I had to partition my WD 2tb caviar green. The computer management can see that the secondary hard drive is in the system, but I am unable to partition it. I would not want to reformat the hard drive. Please help!

Specs:
CPU:Intel Core i7-3770K
GPU:Geforce GTX 660 TI 2GB
Motherboard: Z77X-D3H
PSU: Corsair CX750
Primary Drive: INTEL 60GB 520 SERIES SATA-III 6.0GB/S SSD
Secondary Hard Drive: Western Digital WD Green WD20EARS 2TB

Solution
If you right click on the drive does it give you the option to delete the partition? If it does, it's partitioned already. My guess is that Windows hasn't detected it correctly. I've used this procedure a few times for similar problems to help fix other forum users here.

First shutdown your computer.
Disconnect the SATA cable from your 2TB HDD.
Reboot into Windows.
Once logged in, and Windows had fully loaded to your desktop, shutdown again.
Reconnect the drive.
Boot back into Windows and see if the drive appears in My Computer.

I can see the drive in Disk Management and there was data on this drive, but I cannot see it on My Computer. So I guess it is partitioned already. Do I have to reformat it..?
