I have a BDP-S190. I was wondering if I could make it Wireless capable by connecting
NETGEAR Universal N900 Dual Band Wi-Fi to 4-Port Ethernet Adapter for Video and Gaming (WNCE4004).

As long as I can see, you want to build a cloud. The player sends the A/V stream out from the network jack to the NETGEAR device and it sends the movie all over around.
The player has network, but it's for playing a movie from the net rather sending the stream out to the net. Not sure you can get the signal from the movie out from the player's network. The other problem is that your TV must be a Wi-Fi Direct one, i.e. it must have a wireless adapter in order to catch the signal from the transmitter.
