I built a new system recently using a new case form NZXT. I bought a G1 Sniper B5 motherboard ,a i7 4771 processor and a Thermaltake 850W PSU. I already had a 2x4 G-Skill RAM (1600), a Gigabyte Gtx 670 and an Adata SDD and a Seagate HDD.

I've screwed in the mobo onto the case using the according hexes and put all pieces in with the proper power cable from my PSU. Both the 8-pin and 24 pin for the mobo are pluggued, RAM too, Video card also...

When I press the power button, the fans starts, the CPU heatsink too, mobo lights up, Video card fan spins, HDD spins without clicking but my monitor wont show the bios and stays in standby mode. I have a second working PC and I swapped my hardware one at a time for testing and it turns out my PSU, video card, HDD, SSD works fine with it.

Everything went bad when I switched case. I don't know if there is a short between the Mobo and case but I've used the spacing hexes provided. Although the Cpu heatsink is working fine, I doubt that the CPU itself is since it's not hot or anything. But it's brand new and I made pretty sure it has been inserted properly, I even double cheked it. I have an intel integrated video card with an HDMI output. I plugged both my video card and the integrated one to two different monitor and none of the two shows any sign of Bios. So my guess is either the mobo, the case or the cpu.Sadly I can't put the cpu in my second computer because the chipset isn't compatible. The Mobo has a backup bios in cases where the primary fails to Post so 'im more concerned about the case or cpu than mobo cause everything plugged in it on PCI-E and fans work fine.

How to make sure CPU in working?

That link probably covers it, but I would try re-seating your RAM. If that doesn't work, try one DIMM at a time, if that doesn't work, try them in different slots.

Many times improperly seated or faulty RAM is responsible for a new builds not POSTing.

Latest tries:
-Switched to an old case to see if a shorting was happening with the new one (8pin, 24 pin, VC, PSU, cpu and HS) - No luck
-Noticed that my pc seems to restart if I wait long enough (fan stops, lights goes off for 2 sec then it powers on again) I thought that maybe the PSU was dead but when I tried it on my 2nd computer, it worked fine without issues.
-Tried with and without the integrated video card. - No luck
-Will try to find a Mobo speaker and post the results
