Besides issues relating to cooling and fans, can one " mess up" with how wires of new PSU are arranged? Assuming PSU and the case of PC are reasonably new.

Wire jungle of my new PSU is currently far from pretty. However, at least as far as I can tell, it is completely out of the way of airflow, so to speak. Is it a bad or dangerous thing that my wires are touching god knows that? As long as we don't speak of them getting in the way of fans or other moving parts ofc!

Solution
As long as the insulation an the wires is intact then you wont have any issues apart from it looking bad and untidy. Moving parts will be an issue but as long as there is no chance of them getting caught up then you are fine. Also dont run any across the CPU heatsink as that may get hot. If airflow is good to then you will be fine.

You can always use zip ties or insulation tape to try and tidy up the mess by grouping the wires.

it´s mostly matter of aesthetics and airflow
(a bit higher temperatures inside the case) but otherwise it´s not an issue , as long as cables are not directly touching fans ...
lots of people don´t bother with cable management. you just need to clean your pc from dust more frequently ...
