Hi,

I just recently purchased an Asus RT-N12 B1 (Wireless-N Router) to transmit to my old Asus WL-520GU (Wireless-G) which I used as a wireless Ethernet bridge. I read that wireless-N has a transfer rate of 300mbps compared to 150mbps of wireless-G. I am not sure if I am getting the full potential of my 7.5mbps download and 512kbps plan from my ISP having my current hardware configuration. I would just like to ask if I will notice any improvement if I replace my Asus 520G Ethernet bridge to an N-Ethernet bridge?

Thanks and hoping for your kind responses.

Solution
You wont really see any benefit upgrading as your internet goes only 7.5 Mbps those speeds advertised are only for the internal network transfers most in home ISP cant even come close to those speeds.
