I have a desktop pc with an AMD 6500 APU, I am considering upgrading the GPU but I don't want to spend over $100. Is the EVGA 02G-P3-2639-KR GeForce GT 630 2048MB GDDR3 better than the GPU found within an AMD 6500 APU? I don't want to buy a graphic card only to get the same amount of performance. Thank you very much.

Maybe not. Take a look at this chart: the GT630 is quite a ways down, and is comparable to HD7660D integrated graphics. Your APU has the newer HD 8570D, so might run better then the 630

I am running an A4-6300 in a classroom computer and can play CoD MW3 on a mix of medium and high settings without AA at a consistant 35-50 Frames Per Second; I was truly stunned when I fired it up and it ran so smooth.
Save a little more and get a 660 or 760, that will give a big jump in performance.

Can you first tell us for what you need a new gpu? Like for gaming or just browsing?
