AMD vs NVIDEA durability

I am building a pc, but I can't figure out which gpu I want.
I am on a budget. so I was recommended to go with AMD, but I want my system to be durable. Does anyone know if NVIDEA has less problems with durability?

Neither of those brands have any problems with durability but if you intend to run games nVidia is always the best choice.

no, both are durable if you are talking their reference designs. One could argue that the operating temperature of 95C is not good for the R9, despite AMD stating it's normal, but who knows. Their partners also take their designs and turn it into a custom designs, some partners' designs are more durable than others.

In my country, the r9 290x is just €400. Is it still an option if i'm only to game?

yes, but I just wouldn't recommend the reference cooler. Something like the Sapphire Tri-X is awesome, games around 65C on 3 monitors.
