can i use a ddr3 ram together with a ddr2 ram?

I have asus p5g41c-mlx motherboard which has both ddr3 & ddr2 ram ports. currently i have 2*2gb(4gb) ddr2 ram & want to increase it. But there is no more ddr2 slot left.
So can i use a ddr3 ram card together with the ddr2 rams?

It's either going to use the DDR2 slots or the DDR3 slots. You can't use memory from both banks.

There's even a warning in your MB manual on page 1-13

I think so, however I don't recommend it as it will almost for sure cause random resets ,errors and other problems.
