I was called by my sister that my PC sparked up and started smoking while I was away from home and she was using the PC for the internet. When I got home and checked it out for myself, the PC let out a lot of sparks from where the GPU is (Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB), and loads of smoke came out. I tried turning it on again but the computer just kept turning on for a second and closing. So I removed the GPU, which seemed to cause the sparks and smoke, and the PC turned on and worked just fine. Can anyone tell me why this happened and how to fix it without causing any harm to myself or the PC? Also, what caused this?
Also, there are slight burn marks on the outside of the cable on one area of the GPU, so I am guessing that is where the sparks came from.
Please help, I spent 400 on this GPU and only bought it 5-6 months ago, can't afford another this soon.
Thanks.

My PSU is actually pretty good, not cheap and was bought at the same time as my GPU.
