Hello. I installed this drive as per instructions from crucial with no other drives connected then installed windows 7. Every time I boot with drive connected I get BSOD. I can't really tell what is up with the drive since my computer crashes seconds after it hits the desktop. I tried to wipe the drive and reinstall windows but when i boot from install disk with the drive attached i get to the first splash screen on the win 7 disk and my keyboard and mouse become completely unresponsive so i can't even wipe the drive and reinstall windows . don't know if the is no power to usb or there is some other issue with drivers.
I disconnected the ssd and plugged my WB black in and the computer starts up fine. I also started from install disk and my keyboard and mouse function normally.
Tried to enable hot swap in BIOS thinking i might be able to wipe the drive if it is attached and i could actually get to it and seconds after i plugged it in i get another BSOD.
I will probably end up getting a refund and trying another brand of SSD but i would like at least make an attempt to resolve the issue if i can. thanks i advance for any help.
