2way sli will probably be as performant as the 780ti , or maybe even outperform it ? I don't know , all I know is that it's more powerfull than 1 gtx 780.
But not all games support SLI . And 2 cards cause more heat .
I would personally go for 2x4GB ram module .
You're gonna need a decent cpu cooler to handle those 770's .
I'd personally go for a 770 and add another one later and get an SSD

The build is in essence good.

You don't need a case? Which one do you have?

For a sli of that card is the minimum a 750watt,some will even say 850watt (=probably better),psu from a respectable brand like seasonic, antec, xfx,be quiet, corsair, enermax, cooler master silent pro series.

The corsair ax860 will give you decent performance and will never , ever fail .
I haven't heard many good things about AsRock , so I'd go for an MSI mobo
You can go for this build , too :

You don't really need sli now when only using a 1080p screen.

Something you also could look at,
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($64.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.44 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($399.99 @ Newegg)

You would have room to add a ssd.

It's not about resolution , it's about FPS .
GPU hungry games like Crysis 3 , Far Cry 3 or Metro Last Light will benefit of that extra gpu and definetly give more performance .

AMD GPU's aren't that great , they only perform well on AMD optimized games .
And don't even bother talking about crossfire , it's a complete mess .

That's just nonsense.

I've used it several times and had no problems,if you did,did you do something wrong.

Don't quote gpu boss, look for real benchmarks.

I actually never crossfire because many people report problems of micro stuttering
Yes it does make sense ; and actually , NVIDIA gpu's beat AMD gpu's in some amd optimized games .

When you're right you're right,scrolled past that,but only the card that's reviewed,so no comparison.Just for that a link for the r9 290 with crysis 3,

@ 1900x1200 does it do 54fps which is good enough for me.And there's probably room for overclocking which just might let it hit 60fps.
