Hello, I am making my first ever PC build, hopefully to purchase when I have enough money, though, I want to make sure that everything will fit, and work together. I have gone over the stats, and I believe it will all work hand in hand, but I want to be sure. I will be purchasing all my parts from MicroCenter (microcenter.com) in-store. However, I will not be buying my graphics card there, as they are quite expensive compared to buying online. If you have any suggestions, ideas, or helpful information, it could really help. Maybe even some money saving tips? xD Here is what my build includes:

Corsair 350D Windowed Case: (110$)

Corsair CX750 750 Watt ATX <--- Will this power supply fit in my mini-atx case? (94$, its a great price, so I hope it fits! :p)(Or Should I go for an SeaSonic 750W Semi-Modular.. Is it worth getting the Modular? Does it help a lot?)

LG 24X (Disc Player - 16$)

I will be dual-booting with Windows 8.1 and Mac OS X. Will this be able to handle it?

I also need help on graphics card....

A] I need a temporary graphics card, something cheap, while I save for the GTX 770 4GB.

B] Who shall I buy the GTX 770 4GB from? What version? Is Wind force good? I was looking at Gigabyte, but I just don't really know. Hopefully you guys have some advice?
(I know that 4gb is a lot of VRAM, but it will help will dual-monitors.)
---
Will I run into any problems with this build? Is it possible to record with shadowplay nicely? (I may start youtube, or just share gameplay with friends.) Would Video Rendering be Okay? (I know it would be better if I bump the RAM to 16gb, and get an i7 due to hyperthreading, though its just out of my budget at the momment) I am also favor Intel CPUs, I just don't care for AMD. Same for AMD graphic cards. I prefer nvidia, too. :)
---
Thanks a ton!

Hi. I shop at MC regularly and love it. Was just there last weekend getting an SSD and a second DVD/RW drive, the exact LG you have listed for $16 (it comes in a plastic bag with zero accessories as it is OEM only and not retail box). Overall your build looks great. I would question why you feel the need to get a 4GB GTX 770 however. You generally will not need 4GB of RAM on a card unless you are pushing three monitors or a 2560x1440 resolution monitor which I assume you will not based on budget. You will be just fine with a 2GB 770 for 1080p. On my backup gaming rig I'm running a 2GB GTX 680 at 1080p and getting frame rates of 60+ on FC3, Crysis 2, and BF3. I would strongly recommend going with EVGA for the video card...they have the best warranty in the business. Also, if you can hold out another month or so, you may see a price drop in the current cards as Nvidia rolls out the new GTX-8xx series cards (Maxwell). But, you won't go wrong with everything you chose otherwise.

I have just two comments: you may have problems with space and that 770 on a micro-PC motherboard layout. Also, I'd advise going with a case that has front input cooling fans. The 770 runs warm.

Yeah, I love microcenter. XD Anyways, I suppose you are right, 4gb might be overkill, though, I plan on running a gaming monitor and a secondary one not for gaming. Would that be fine? I will check into EVGA, thanks for the suggestion. I am a noob, so what are exactly front input cooling fans? Ihttp://cdn.pcper.com/files/imagecache/article_max_width/review/2013-04-26/IMG_978510.jpg

As-well, any in-depth idea about the space issues? Maybe a recommendation? Thanks for everything.

Hmm, would this be able to support OverClocking, with additions of SSDs, Hard-drives, and extra fans, and random upgrades? Also, is there a modular, or semi-modular one? Thanks.

Thanks for fast reply, it is fairly cheap. Thanks for the suggestion, just wish MicroCenter had it... Hopefully I can find a modular version. Thanks!

You're welcome :)

Edit: You might also look into ASRock Z87 Extreme6 motherboard which comes for 135$ after rebates :)
