I just finished a build with i5-4570 using the stock cooler.
Case: CoolerMaster Silencio 352.
Mobo: AsRock B85M Pro4.
SpeedFan shows both case fans running at full speed 1150-1200rpm.
Cpu fan full speed too 1170 rpm
I can see cpu idle temps around 43 C with room temp at 22 C. Pretty warm, isn't it? Did I botch the cooler installation? Am I supposed to expect for the heat transfer paste to settle for some time or what?
Other grievance is the noise of this Silencio case. The Cooler Master stock fans make a lot of noise. Case is also resonating/vibrating. I checked my cable management. They are not near the fans and they are not pressing against the side walls, so the vibration must come from the case fans.
Obviously CM did not use plastic/silicon when attaching the fans to the case. Does anyone have experience with these fans? CM XtraFlo 120mm, no leds. Are they any good? Should i switch them?
If I have reapply thermal paste, I might get a cooler at the same time, if it solves any issues. This case allows for max 155mm cooler height.
How about CM Hyper TX3 EVO cooler? I could get that for 25€. Is this gonna be LOUD because of the small fan diameter? Am I going to see any improvements in temps and noise?
