Hello!
So i bought a Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB OC Edition for my new build and when i opened MSI Afterburner i saw something strange. The "Core Clock" was able to be increased to 1000, which is madness or am i just not informed well enough? Normally i put my clock by +100-125 and i can put this one to +1000. Is this normal?
I am also wondering what is the safe overclock that i can achieve? At the moment i am on:
Core Voltage: Locked and i haven't played with it
Power Limit: 110
Core Clock: +125
Memory Clock: +350
Fan speed: Auto

And one last question. Is it normal that when i launch a more demanding game (Guild Wars 2) and my GPU starts doing some strange noises(not as bad as coil whine but still annoying).

Solution
Msi lets you really push your graphics card pass the factory "Safe Levels". I would not try to overclock that much and since your
graphics card is so powerful minor increases will result in alot of heat. Try bumping the memory and core clock up 50mhz. To address the noise it's normal for the graphics card to make noise when under load. If anything make sure that the fan isn't scraping or grinding against the cover of the graphics card.
