Although the R9 270 is a great choice, he wants to play Far Cry 3, which I personally think that a 7750 would be perfectly fine for.

2nd build is nice. But,Is 500 Watts PSU is sufficient for R9 280?
For R9 280 600 Watts PSU is needed.
