Hard to say without your full specs, but generally speaking Asus and Gigabyte make some of the best motherboards out there.
If the question was "Do my motherboard and GPU need to be from the same manufacturer?" then the answer is no, they don't.
If the question was "Do my motherboard and GPU need to be from the same manufacturer?" then the answer is no, they don't.

I know that my motherboard doesn't need to be the same brand as my GPU
Just wondering if the same brand would get me any benefits but i guess no
