I was wondering what the max voltage for an r9 270x was. Also, i noticed in gpuz that if i raise the core clock, the voltage rises as well. why is this?
Max programmable is 1225mV I think, if that's what you are wondering? Stock VID is variable depending on chip quality though. You can check ASIC quality with GPU-Z.
GPU-Z places a light artifical load on so you can display your 3D clocks properly.
I don't think that 1225 mv is the max voltage because at stock the voltage is at 1215 and, according to gpuz, with a 60 mhz core clock boost and 50 mv boost the voltage is at 1275
