Hey guys I have been stuck with two builds I have created and I have been focused on one key issue with it, future proofing. One of the builds is Corsiar 250d mini-itx with gtx 780 ti, really dig corsair and its design and I want a small desktop case. The other one is mini itx but holds micro atx mobo, Xigamatec Aquilla, also with gtx 780 ti. Now the trouble is I don't know which one is future proof. Will I just swap out the gpu for a new graphics card in the future on the corsair 250d or when the price of gtx 780 ti goes down and game resolution goes up will I add another 780 ti to the m-atx case? Thanks and thanks again :)

1st thing - your 780ti is currently top dog for single gpu's!

" I'm wondering if the SLI will be improved so that it will work when the game comes out."

--> no one knows that answer. However, for the time being, have no worries that 780ti will be all you need - unless you are gaming 3 screen at 3D ;)

Your primary concern should be upgradability (/ longevity) for your build/s...buy newest tech/architecture to guarantee some future-proofing.

Of course (unfortunately), nothing lasts for ever.

I hope so. But I'm wondering if the SLI will be improved so that it will work when the game comes out.
