Best possible graphics card

Hello

This is my question. What is the best HD Radeon Card i can put with a AMD Athlon II X4 750K CPU I want to max my graphics. This is the best processor for my budget so i'm sticking with this cpu. I want to know what is the best card i can get before its bottle necked. I was thinking of a HD Radeon 7770 but could i get a 7950?

It would bottleneck the 7950. But you can still run it though but not at its full potential.

Well my Dad has an i3 x3 3ghz with a hd radeon 7750 and can play Skyrim on high at 60 fps. So could i stick a HD Radeon 7770 in and would be able to use the same settings and also be able to play all valve game on high at 60fps?

I want to know i can play Skyrim and Valve games at a good framerate.

Yes you can do this. If you want ultra settings go for R9 270 or a HD 7870 if you can find one.

Yes but how does the extra 1gb help gaming. I can understand if your rendering out videos but how does it help in gaming having that extra gb?

it helps for loading textures in games as it is stored there. Higher quality texture needs more space thus the need for more vram. However, that depends on the card being able to fully utilised the vram so more vram does not always mean more fps.
For 1080p 2GB vram should be enough.

I have a small LG 1080p monitor that is the one up from the one my Dad has which looks great playing Skyrim on an HD Radeon 7750 1gb low profile, I plug mine into my Xbox 360 via hdmi and i run it at 720p as the screen flickers slightly. Probably the console but the screen isn't huge so i wouldn't think it would take a super expensive and powerful card to render a game at 1080p on that screen on medium to high settings with a 1gb card. I'm looking into that 2gb HD Radeon 7770 but if i don't find one at a good price i will go for a 1gb as i know people who run games fine on a 1gb version with the same kind of processor as mine and its only about £89.

The R9 260X is around that price which is slightly better than the 7770 and has 2GB VRAM

After searching through Sapphires site to find the one i wanted at a good price. Apparently there is no 2GB version but i don't mind. As long as it plays Skyrim smoothly and all the non demanding games i have on my Steam library.
I'd like to get back to Team Fortress 2 and this will certainly do it.

in certain newer games your going to bottleneck a little bit. but for the $200 price point you would be better off getting this card anyways as it is vastly faster than anything near its price, especially in the $150-200 range.

its not showing the $20 rebate currently but its active so the total price would be $199.99 with shipping and before tax if applicable in your state.
