My motherboard recently went started failing and I had to order a new one. I ended up buying the MSI 790A-G46 motherboard.
I rebuilt my computer the other day when the mobo came in and I could t get the computer to POST or display anything. After bread boarding each part and making sure they all work, I found out that the bios has to be updated to support FX CPUs.
I ordered a cheap Sempron 145 to update the BIOS. I installed the sempron 145 in the new mobo. Boom. CPU starts up nice and quick. I check the Bios version to find out that it is the latest bios version 2.6. I have tried downgrading to a old BIOS. It still will not Post with the FX6300 in it.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Yeaa I have been seeing that a lot on the forums. There's nothing I can do to get it to work with my FX? I don't want to go thru the long hassle of dealing with a return then the long wait for the new one.
