I just bought a new CPU cooler and I was wondering if I could use white vinegar for cleaning my CPU instead of rubbing alcohol, as I can't get my hands on it.
If not, are there other ways/liquids to clean the CPU?

I have cleaned thousands of cpus. You can use just about anything to clean a cpu. Charcoal lighter, Dish soap, plain water, vinegar, a damp rag. Just be careful you don't chip it. They are very brittle.

Wolf gimme a break. How many cpus have you cleaned. Its like saying don't use paper towels cleaning a window. Actually charcoal lighter works the best. It dissolves the compound easier than alcohol. Us a q tip and only clean the side with the compound on it.
