Hey a friend of mine has done a budget build and he wants to know if this build would a decent gaming rig for some of the mid range games. He pretty much based it off of Gamespot's 500 dollar AMD build but with difference parts. One main thing he wants to know is if he could use the one stick of 4gb ddr3 in his old computer with his build since he is only gonna be using 1 stick of 8gb ram and if he is getting his moneys worth

Build doesn't look too bad at all. I would go with a bigger PSU though. 430W is not that much, especially if you decide to overclock that 6300 (which it is a very good cpu for overclocking).

Here is a link to one I will be getting at the end of the month. It is a very reputable name and has 520Watts.

Also I would suggest using the 8 gigs of ram in this build if you are going to be gaming with it. You don't need more than 8 at the moment, but 4 might be a little low for some games.
