After getting my graphics card and trying to install my drivers I realised that my graphics card was not actually being picked up as a Gtx 750ti and just as "Unknown device". I tried taking the card out and trying to remove any dust from the pci e slot. I put my graphics card back in and still comes up saying the , graphics card is a "Unknown Device". To make the problem worse, I now have to boot up windows in safe mode as when I try to boot up normally I get the BSOD and a red light is displayed on my mobo. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check the card in a different PC. If still no good, RMA

I don't have access to another PC, do you think my local PC repair shop would test it?

They should be able to. Ask them if they can test it.
