Do they both take the same process and will they take more power, and will the factory OC card life lower too like the manual OC because of the high power?

More about : factory manual

It sounds like you are buying a prebuilt PC from a company like CyberPowerPC or iBuyPower?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. If I understand the question correctly, you are getting a GTX 750 in a custom build PC and have the option to buy a factory OC, or just OC yourself. IF this is the case, just OC yourself, it will save you money and give you the technical know-how to overclock. There is a bit of a disadvantage of overclocking on your own. If you overclock, you void the warranty. As long as you don't set the clock speed ridiculous high, you should be fine.

If you are asking if buying a "super clocked" version of a GPU from the manufacturer like ASUS or EVGA, that's fine, and is actually better than a reference card.
