I would think that your processor is fine. The system will still 'turn on' as in fans still moving but nothing will display on the screen even without a CPU installed. So you replaced the motherboard already?

Yes I replaced the motherboard (bought a new one because I was recommended to do it on this site) then I RMA'd my power supply so it's brand spankin new.

I also tested the power supply with the paper clip test and worked up fine, I plugged everything in (correctly, I even checked it over several times.)
'Will my build run BF4 ULTRA?' - Answered
So i see a lot of people asking weather this CPU will get me 60 FPS in BF4 on ultra/high settings and according to benchmarks, unless you have a severe bottleneck with a terribly low end cpu, the cpu you choose will not have SIGNIFICANT effects on... See full content

Could you instead test your motherboard with your friend's CPU? What motherboard did you buy and was your GPU tested in another system (if a GPU is required)?

I didn't so much test my gpu because I doesn't need to be in the mobo for it to turn on, my specs are
As rock extreme 4
Intel i7
7950 gpu
G skill ram

Also I JUST received my new mobo from newegg (same as my old one as rock extreme 4) so I don't think there's a need to test it

The goal is to determine if your system works with another CPU, but you can test your CPU in your friend's system if you prefer.

The thing is he is very stubborn and he doesn't feel safe, so I'm making this thread to show him if it's safe or not

Well... It's not that difficult to swap processors. The only thing you need to really watch out for is if you're putting it in correctly. Also you have to have some thermal compound.

Then get it tested by a shop.
