Looking for information about AMD APU

I am really confused by the performance of the AMD APU performance, with a discreet graphic card. I really want to build a mini atx system with a FM2 mobo and cpu. However, wondering what the benefit or non benefit of such a system would be. Would a A8 with a GTX 750ti perform as good as, my current build, a FX4350 on a standard large AMD 3+ system. Would I be able to get the same performance as say a H81 intell board with a I5 4430? Some knowledgeable info would be appreciated . Looking for mid to upper performance. I currently get 80+ fps in all current games.

There is no point in getting an APU unless you plan on using the graphics processor built into the APU itself. For budget get an intel pentium. Or get an Athlon 750K/760K if you want to overclock and have fairly descent performance. For more performance get an i3 or an i5. For more threading get an FX-8320. For best of all worlds just get an i7.
