Which fans for liquid cooler?

I want to control my fan rpm speeds. I have the h100i and SP120 fans connect to the pump with the Y splitter. I tried using corsair link to ramp down/up the fans but they didnt respond, so do I need the SP120 PWM editions instead in order to do that?

I contacted a mod to remove this one!
- can you do it please.

But i have posted other questions that have suddenly disappear (i wasnt spamming)
