i ignorantly plugged my toshiba ext hard drive in another device and that device reformatted my hard drive. now when i plug it in, my computer wont recognize it at all, i tried to format it but it doesn't give me that option i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it remains unseen by my comp.
this didnt work for me my hard drive still remains undetected by my computer

I recently had a HDD and a SSD that windows would not format. So after a decent amount of research I found this partitioning software that I think works wonderful. Hopefully this will help with your situation also.
