Hey guys
I recently purchased this system off a friend who didn't need it anymore

I have a question about the psu in the system it's a Aywun megapower 550w as I have never heard of this brand, I was wondering whether any of you guys have heard of it and whether it's reliable or whether it should be the first thing i replace.

The system is
i3 3rd gen 3.3 ghz
Gigabyte motherboard (basically new)
8gb ram
WD blue 500gb
Aywun 550w psu
Nvidia gt240 gpu
Blu ray burner
DVD burner

I got this for only $75

And am going to add a WD Blue 1tb HDD, a samsung 120gb SSD and an asus gtx 770 and then later upgrade the CPU to an i7

So my question should I upgrade the psu before adding any of my components I have brought?

Thanks sorry for the extremely wordy question

This PSU is sold in Australia and the 550 watts model barely has a 400 watts output. That said, look for a good Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, Antec PSU 550 watts or better for some future upgrades. Check for sales and promos at Newegg, Amazon, and other computer stores.
