My computer is about two years old. It is the Pavilion dm4 beats edition. I got it customized for it to have

i7 and 8 gb of ram.
At first it was very fast and snappy but now even after a format, the computer feels very slow. I cannot even watch a stream online without it being laggy. I can even watch on my phone without any problems so it's not my internet.
Any idea??

It depends on the brand and their charge fee for the installation of the HDD, since this is a laptop I would not advise you to change the HDD yourself, it's hard to change an HDD from a laptop than a PC.

Canvas some prices then you decide. :)

Yes, I've been to the HP site and that's the first thing I did after formatting my laptop. I did not install all of them but do you have any suggestions as to which ones I have to install? The ones that I did install such as the intel chipset and graphics driver, etc did not seem to help the problem whatsoever.

If you can update your current drivers and if it didn't make any difference, I highly suggest you take your laptop to a computer shop to have it checked since it's a bit hard to troubleshoot a laptop than a desktop. :/

Thank you very much for your advice. I googled similar questions and some users suggested that it might be a hard drive issue. Do you know if the problem I described matches a hdd? If so, how much would it cost to change a hard drive at a computer shop?
