I'm thinking of building a PC that could be used for gaming and general work, but not cost more than say $650 dollars. I went on microcenter because in my area they have decent deals on stuff and here is what I came up with

CPU : i5 4670k - $189.99
GPU : GV-R927OC-2GD AMD Radeon R9 270 Overclocked 2048MB - $169.99
MOBO : MSI H81M-E33 - $14.99
RAM : Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600 (2x4gb) - $72.99
Hard Drive : WD 1tb Blue - $59.99
Case : Thermaltake Commander Mid Tower - $49.99
PSU : Inland Silver Series ILS-500-2 500 Watt ATX Power - $27.99
DVD Drive : Samsung - $16.99

I chose the i5 4670k for a couple of reasons. 1st, for the potential to overclock (which I don't plan on doing in the near future), and 2nd, because, for some reason, when paired up with the MSI MOBO, it dropped its price from around $50 to $15. This is why I didn't go with like a i5 4570 because it would raise the price back up and it would, over all, pretty much cost the same, so I figured I might as well go with the better CPU if it costs the same. Also, I read that the r9 270 is pretty much the same as the r9 270x, so I went with the r9 270 because it wasn't too expensive and yet can still handle gaming pretty well (I think). The games I plan on playing are mostly Guild Wars 2, Battlefield, and games like Civilization. If you have any critique, or changes, or whole new build suggestions, they would be most appreciated. Thanks
Sam

Look Sam, I'm going to get hate for posting this and telling you to go for this over the beauty that is the i5. But, if you want a reliable system and parts, then this it. I have a 60 gig ssd on there, so that's hogging up about 50 bucks, but you can use that for boot time. If you wanted to dedicate that 50 bucks to an FX8350 instead of the 6300, then you could. But I like this machine because of the upgrade value it has without changing quite a few parts here and there.

Here it is with the 8320 I meant that not the 8350. Also, no SSD.
