I have two HD 6950 2GB, one with a higher score and one with a lower score, when comes to crossfire mode, the score didn't increase much, why is that?

Here is the 3Dmark score of my 1st card.

Here is the 3Dmark score of my 2nd card.

As you can see the performance aren't really good, is it because the second card is broken so it throttling my first card?

Yes but other than Crossfire, why does the second card have such low score when its the same card as the first one?

I know but I actually took both card out and put each one in, testing it one by one, therefore it has nothing to do with Crossfire, its the card and I can't figure out what is wrong.

Like the scores, One card has like 1000 more scores than the other one, thats a big gap and I looked at other people with the same setup, they get high scores like 6000.

Well do you know any applications that allows me to test for error and performance of GPU so I can see if my card its really having problem.

I have never tried other version of the drivers but in the use of GPUz I founded out that the first card's clock speed spikes up and down, often goes to 800MHz then drop back to 250MHz; on the other hand the result of my second card which is the one with the lower score, has a constant 250MHz clock speed, I wonder this have anything to do with it. I will provide some picture from GPUz.

Hey,
have you bought the second card second hand? Maybe someone has spent the last 2 years bit coin farming 24/7 and has fried it?

The other thing I can think of - in crossfire cards tend to heat up a bit more than usual. Have you monitored their temperatures while under load? Maybe the second card is overheating and is throttling its speeds down. Try http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html or similar to see what are the temps like.

It does go up to 1250 when gaming and overdrive is enable and default. You can see the pictures I uploaded to this thread while playing BF4
