Toshiba internal hard drive problem

I have 500gb toshiba hard drive. And i encounted a problem that was whenever i boot my system at the booting period my hard drive making stranger noise like clicking noise. Sometime my pc goes to freeze. And the noise come out. I have another way to shut it down my pc without put it down the ups power button. Still my pc won't boot . No error message during the boots period but at the starting windows will not load no longer.. I tried to format all the partition but when i reached the format stage it says could not format the partition. Besides even i could not delete partition. When i click to delete the partition it taking long process and at end it says could not delete the partition. I can't accesse these partition still then. What should i do.
I purchased the hard drive 5 months ago.. The product still under the warranty.. Can repair the product.? Replace is necessary.? Please give a possible solution.

A clicking drive sounds like a failed drive. You should get it replaced under warranty. Though you now may have lost all the data on that drive. I hope you backup! If you don't, start to do so, this may also help fuel you to do so as well.
